Arrival to Prague, transfer to hotel.
In the morning board the coach and depart to "Bohemian Paradise" - a highly attractive area of sandstone rock towns created several million years ago. On some peaks there are medieval castles which form the domination. The centre of the region - the city of Turnov - is well known for it´s work in grinding semi-precious stones and Bohemian garnet (visit to the museum of semi-precious stones included). In the afternoon we depart for Sychrov, an extensive chateau built at the end of the 17th century with rich collections and a memorial dedicated to the Czech composer Antonin Dvorak and Jablonec nad Nisou world-known for its costume jewellery. Visit to the local museum of glass and jewellery. Overnight in Liberec.
Begin the day with a short visit to Liberec. The town is located at the foot of Jizera Mountains. Jested Tower – the landmark of the city, is a unique piece of architecture. Following the visit we will depart for glassworks in Lindava. You will have a unique chance to observe the hot fluid glass mass changing into the delicate beauty in hands of masters glassblowers.
Later in the afternoon we will also visit the Ploskovice Chateau, built in the 18th century as a summer residence which became later a residence of Ferdinand V. of Habsburg — the last Czech king. Collections of furniture, paintings, china and glass. The chateau park was drafted as a copy of Versailles. Overnight in Teplice.
Option 1
After breakfast short tour of Teplice, a picturesque spa town. Among the visitors there were not only kings but also other famous personalities, such as Goethe, Beethoven, Wagner. The town of Teplice was given the sobriquet of "Small Paris". After visit we depart for Duchcov, chateau where Giacomo Casanova spent last 13 years of his life and Osek - Cistercian monastery from the 12th century, called the pearl of the Ore Mountains. Overnight in Teplice.
Option 2
After breakfast we depart for Decin to embark a boat for a full day trip to Dresden. Lunch and wine tasting included. Overnight in Teplice.
Depart for Prague with a stop in Terezin. Terezin was a concentration camp established by the SS during the World War II in the garrison city of Terezin. Tens of thousands of people died there, more than 150,000 other persons were held there for months, before being sent to their deaths at Treblinka or Auschwitz extermination camps. Following the tour you depart for Nelahozeves, a Rennaisance chateau belonging to the Lobkowitz noble family boasting one of the oldest and richest chateau collections in Central Europe. The collection of Spanish portraits is the third largest in the world. Birthplace of Czech composer A.Dvorak. Overnight in Prague.
Full day city tour in Prague including all major sights in Prague—Castle, Old Town, Jewish Ghetto, Charles Bridge, Little Quarter.
