Pilsen is the metropolis of West Bohemia and with its 170.000 inhabitants is the fourth largest city in Czech Republic. The tower of the St. Bartholomew Church, the highest in the country (103m), is the dominant of the town. Worth-seeing is also the Great Synagogue, the second largest synagogue in Europe. Pilsen is famous for its Pilsner Urquell beer. A part of the trip is also the brewery visit including beer tasting.
